High Lonesome, just a couple straight guys gettin' haircuts, formed in August 2013. A fortnight later, they were awarded NAMBLA 2013's "Tallest Band" award. For their trill vibes and "Try harder, damn it" attitude, High Lonesome has been nominated for this year's "2014 Can't Believe We Made It" lifetime achievement award. High Lonesome released "Sloppy Gospel" in August of 2013, and are wrapping up their sophomore effort and first full-length record entitled "Get Some Young." They ain't in it for their health, and play melodic, American rock and roll, really, really well.
